HR Analytics Dashboard
Overview
The goal of this project was to create an interactive Power BI dashboard that allows leaders in the HR department to gain insightful analytics and visualizations around key employee demographic data.

There are two pages in this dashboard:
- Employee Summary
- Performance & Satisfaction Summary
- Employee Profile
Business Understanding
By exploring metrics like gender, race, citizenship status and more, HR leaders can better understand the composition of the workforce and identify opportunities to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Filtering and drilling into individual profiles also enables effective decision making around talent management.

For example, in this dashboard, the “Production Department” is shown to have 134 team members who are Caucasian, 21 who are Asian, and 6 from other racial groups. The department head and HR may want to work closely to promote greater racial diversity within the department.

Furthermore, the dashboard allows the HR department to easily identify staff members’ performance levels that could be improved. This helps the company arrange relevant training accordingly. Page 2 (Performance & Satisfaction Summary) also shows employee satisfaction rates by marital status, allowing further insights to support staff
Conclusion
The finalized dashboard, accessible at the provided link, gives HR executives and managers a centralized hub to analyze workforce demographics at an aggregate level and pull individual employee records. Overall, the solution aimed to enhance the understanding of diversity and streamline talent processes through self-service analytics in Power BI.
